Faith and Hope

Hi,

It has been a long time since I have written to you all. We have been really busy. Ok so this is what happened, we have been visiting O’mars bird store a lot. There has been so many different kinds of birds that we fell in love with. One day they got in new baby Senegal Parrots. We fell in love with them all, they were all so sweet and cute! But there was one that I loved. But I did not know how to tell it apart from the others, it had kinda different coloring and personality so I tried to remember those. But the next time we came to O’mars all the babies were gone and sold but two. It was the one I liked a lot, and it was still there. The other one that was with it was completely different than the one I liked. He was nippy and did not like to be held. We all really liked this bird. We had done a lot of research on different kinds of birds. So one day I decided to have a bake and bracelet sale. I made a ton of bracelets and we made lemonade, cup cakes, and spice cake and things like that. It was a huge success! We made over seven hundred dollars! So that was enough to buy the bird and the cage and food. I had already had four hundred dollars from other bracelet I sold, so I new I had enough. But... we had to convince my dad somehow. So me and my mom did a play my mom dressed up as my dad and I was me. My Aunt videoed us while my mom asked all these questions about the bird like where will it go when we have to leave on vacations, how will you pay for it, and where will it stay and typical things like that. We played it for him that night. Then a couple days later we went back to O’mars bird store and the nice lady said,”You guys... I am really sorry but a man came in yesterday and said he had to have this bird for his daughters. But you know, that man was your dad!” So that was really cool. I was so so sad and then I was so so so happy. She has been great. She is not nippy, not loud, and very very sweet. My dog "Faith" and "Hope" get along, they do not mind each other. That’s what her name is "Hope" so now we have a Faith and a Hope.  Well that’s all for now, bye.

Love,

Brielle

Brielle begins her very aggressive chemo protocol at City of Hope this coming Monday, June 8th.  Please pray that Faith and Hope will invade her spirit, and the joy of the Lord will be her strength!
